Might not be a bug but I figured I'd post it. When in battle as of late I have been listening to the Generals pre-battle motivational speech. Seems to me like he starts one speech and then midway through switches to another. Im listening to the Kaiser against the Papal States and Sicily.
Also in one battle I couldnt see the damage indicator to tell how damaged the walls are until they hit 100% damaged. I was close enough to tell, I was within ballista tower range. In the following battle having changed nothing it worked as it should.

Oh, for Heaven's sake, now you're being deliberately stupid.

Wudang why did you close the thread? Because you can't find a source refuting mine? LoL how's the quest to ban me going?

And yet another problem: I was assaulting a small town with genoa. I had a unit of peasant crossbowmen. The problem is that, though it was written "reloading", they did nothing. which means I could not use them! They were not firing!
Is there a way to fix this?
the peasant crossbowmen supposed to shoot from outside the town walls. The battering ram didn't yet break the gate.
Where were they? Sometimes they won't shoot. This is a vanilla bug.
Others have encountered a problem like that. We are still working on it. You might want to have a look at http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...=417615&page=2 and the thread it links to, which talk about siege battles crashing to the desktop. You may find that it is the same problem and get help there. By the way, the moderators would want me to mention also that this thread is for bugs that do not cause crashes.![]()
I don't know if this matters since the mailed knight unit Sicily has at the beginning isn't even supposed to be there, but that unit has a phantom skinless member. He takes the very front left position in the unit when I bring it to a stop, which means he may be an undesigned commanding officer. Every time I have seen him, his unit is either in melee or just emerging from it, i.e. he may have a skin when his unit has its lances in hand.
Typo in the princess trait 'Vision of Beauty' - a double negative. Should read, "This creature's visage is so stunning most men that meet her are able to think of little else." This could work in another language such as Spanish: "Hombres que encuentren a ella no pueden pensar de nada mas," but not in English.![]()

they were outside the small town wall, thinking about shooting those after the wall. perhaps they cannot shoot like archers (that is, if there is a wall between them and the target, perhaps they are not able to shoot a bit up, as the archers do). However, wasn't this possible with the vanilla?
They can shoot over walls, but not if they are too close. (both sides need to be a little away from the wall) It has to do with their max angle, and all that stuff was altered from vanilla.
Hey I unpacked mt MTW2 and now i get crashes after battle loads. I backed up my entire MTW2 folder, if i delete/move my unpacked stuff and put in my back up will it work fine again?
I noticed Corinth has been moved far from its historical position on the Isthmus of Corinth. I am rather surprised at this since it was its location so close to the Isthmus that made it both prosperous and strategically important throughout pre-modern history. (I know the map I have posted says it is for circa 200 BC, but I have both studied and visited this area enough to know that the settlement moved very little until the modern age, and then in a different direction.) Was this done on purpose?![]()
I don't seem to have received an official response on this. The difference is well over 50 miles or about 80 kilometers. It's more than halfway across the Peloponnese from where it belongs, and that's difficult for someone with an interest in Greek history to stomach.
I've posted Google maps to show the disparity more clearly. Notice Archea Korinthos in the second picture. This is where the ancient Roman settlement was (and apparently some amount of Greek settlement prior to that), as opposed to Korinthos, the modern city. To the southwest of Archea Korinthos is an unlabelled hill, most easily visible in the third picture. This is Akrokorinthos, the classical acropolis/fortress of Corinth which also served as its main defensive bulwark for both pre-Roman and post-Roman times, including Turkish, Venetian, and Frankish occupations, and there is still an old castle on the site today. It was the crucial center of Corinth until modern weapons rendered it obsolete. The last picture shows where it was placed in SS 6.4.
I hope this can be addressed. In general I must say that you have a beautiful product, and I truly admire your work!
I play as Khwarezmian empire. In my castle i have archers guild lvl2. The proble is that no experience is added too my archers. It's like there is no effect with this guild for Khwarezm... Units cannot be retrained to get bonus experience, any unit.

Pardon me if this is normal, but are General's Bodyguard units supposed to exist in the campaign without generals in them? This particular one, if I am not mistaken, is present at the beginning of the campaign, and may exist only if there is a Byzantine player but not a Seljuk player. The screenshot comes from Turn 2 of a Byzantine single player campaign.
