Default Scottish nobles fighting on foot?

Hello, I have noticed that the Irish have general's bodyguard unit fighting on foot, will something like this also be available for the kingdom of Alba. I remember reading several historical accounts of scottish nobles leading their men into the battlefield without horses.

I will answer for the team. As far as I know, the only bodyguards that are mounted are the Franks and the late Normans.
EDIT: Apparently I don't know what i'm talking about! There are mounted bodyguards for Ireland, Scotland and probably Wales.

Remember to read the discription, friend. The unit called Scottish Nobles, are on foot. Which is great and historical. However, the Ridire Bodyguard says they are of Gaelic heritage, so we can assume they brought their horses to Alba. The Caledonians had been trading with the Irish for horses since antiquety. However, the Scottish Kings are not of Gaelic ancestry - the first King of Scotland was only brought up in Ireland. So, we can assume we was tought to ride a proper horse and not some silly pony like the Picts!

Also you have to bear in mind that the engine limits how the armies can be depicted. The Irish for instance often dismounted from the horses before battle as they had no stirrups and would not be able to go in full tilt without getting themselves killed.

Ok, thanks for the replies. That's too bad. I was hoping at least the Viking generals would be fighting on foot, as large numbers of horses are difficult to bring onto the ships/långskeppen.
