I had a warning a week or so ago from Archer that this woould happen, but I didnt think it would be so soon. My 8 months on staff has finally met the highest honor. I will fill this role better than possible, so dont you all worry.

Hey, wow, this is brilliant. As you are my patron I think that I ought to say something. Nothing amazingly special, but just something ordinary and ok, with a little of my extreme far left ideology added in.

Congratulations, Seleukos! May the Red Controller bring a more just order to TWC with the mighty Seleukos as the new Imperial Consul of TWC, and true justice rule over all!

Not that the Red Controller had anything really to do with it, of course. Maybe me being his just servant did, though.

Yes, it means "Look behind/beneath/after you. Remember that you are human." It was whispered by a slave, who was holding the big golden crown of Jupiter just over the victorious general's head. The quotation is variously given with mortalum, "mortal", instead of hominem, "human", and sometimes esse, "are", is omitted (as is allowed by Latin grammar). A Praefectus Praetorio is hardly a slave, but I don't think there was anything anyone said in particular to a new Consul, so I had to pick something else. Consider it a mark of my servitude.

And here is the neww thing I learned from Sim today. Hehe, having a slave remind the general they are human, those Romans...
