Media Laptop

My friend asked me for some advice regarding a new laptop.

She's not a gamer, and doesn't use it for anything heavy (just schoolwork and entertainment.) She just want it to be fast-ish because she does open up lots of windows when researching on the internet. The bigger the screen the better obviously since she watch movies on it all the time.

Any suggestions?

P.S. She has a choice of looking for one in Thailand right now, but she doesn't mind waiting and buying one when she gets back to Oxford, England either.

hummmm the asus N series might be for her, they com in 3 sizes:

N53 - 15''

There is also the envy series

The only one we have certain is the 17, the other(s) we dont

There is also the vaio FA series, which is new and comes equipped with 3d and blu ray in a 16'' package (I hate the design btw)

I will get the vaio SA which is a 13.3'' and comes with the new i5 2nd gen processors, and a 1600*900 screen, and a 6630 AMD gpu, I like the design and the power
