This introduces Saruman as a unique character ala Sauron or the Balrog to Isengard. He's based off of elephant artillery, though I modified just about everything. The model is the standard Saruman model from the TATW campaign; I have done no actual modeling.

He shoots an exploding culverin shot, which is as close to the fireball he fires at Gandalf in the deleted scene from Return of the King as I could find.

He has no attack animations; not even in melee. I am as inept at animating as I am at modeling, so I will be unable to fix this.
To install, extract this .zip file to your main TATW folder. Backups for all edited files are included.
IMPORTANT: If you do NOT have the submod that imports actual axes for Axe Throwers from RTW:BI (located Here, do not copy the export_descr_units file. Instead, open your own export_descr_units file and add the contents of the spoiler below wherever you'd like it. The same goes if you have modified export_descr_units for any other reason. This is the only submod in my EDU so it should be compatible with most peoples' games.Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
descr_mounts is changed too; while less commonly altered than export_descr_units, I suppose someone might have modified their file. If you have, open it and add this to it:Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
This submod does NOT change Saruman's bodyguard in the main campaign; while this is possible the fact that Saruman is Isengard's faction leader means there are multiple sarumans on the battlefield (Faction leaders' bodyguards have much higher numbers than normal generals) I know of no fix for this at this time.
If this is popular I will do something similar for Gandalf, and if anyone has a solution for the faction leader cloning problem I would be much obliged.
UPDATE: The projectile now originates in the middle of the Saruman model. The .zip file is now up to date; as is the needed entry to export_descr_units. Becides the change to EDU, what is needed is the modified descr_mounted_engines file in the .zip; or to do it yourself copy and paste the below into your file. This file is not normally part of TATW, so copy/paste your main M2TW's into TATW's data folder.Spoiler Alert, click show to read:Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
