What about adding a Pope-like faction for the colonies, i.e. the Kingdom of France, the Kingdom of Portugal and the United Provinces of Netherlands (Markus, have you ever played Third Age: TW? I'm imagining something like the Sauron faction, but no crusades/invasions. Hmmm, maybe and alternate crusade? The Bandeiras to conquer a certain settlement and allows you to recruit bandeirantes (only for Brazil)?).
EDIT: Will the map include the Spanish colonies in Argentina and Uruguay?
