Most likely no, because BC3 will end around 1300.
wellI think Kasskiyyah are in BC
Royal mamluk cavalry and they were not late mamluk units. actually most early mamluks were Khasskiyyah

Yes, but what I meant was that we won't include late era units.
I think there shouldnt be such a big difference between the late period units and the early ones. We should make the difference by promotion, upgrade and army tradition . That way there would be much more balanced gameplay.
That's nice, but late units won't be included.
And units using gunpowder all the more.![]()
I would focus on the just getting their current plans enacted, refined with our suggestionsand then put out... then bother them about late era editions for the following release or patch.
If those zany, giant fireworks looking things were really employed in battles as early as 1280, then they sound like fair game to me! Sounds like one of those fun tactical units like naptha (though that with various other ignitable mixtures was actually very common) you could strive for building up academic centers for a hundred years before finally achieving. I doubt they would be good anywhere but siege battles.
Well, gunpowder was definitely present in Middle East in the time frame of this mod, that is proven by several written evidences, afaik. Though implementing it would require new models for cannons, because the current vanilla ones are too advanced and look too European imo.

The one that the knight is wearing in the lower left of the picture. I'd love to see it in the mod.
Though it would not look as good in game. The cloth would not flap in the wind.

You're awesome, matmohair1.
I've never seen Mamluk armor before.
