More than one user on Windows 7

I was thinking of making a user account for myself and then having a guest account for other people that are visiting and use my PC. I've never set one up before, I'm not asking how to do it because I'm sure it's easy enough to do, I'm just wondering what can I control? I'm wondering if I can make it so some programs are shared and others are only on mine or there's, And are the histories and bookmarks of firefox kept seperate? I like to leave myself logged into things like Facebook and I don't want someone using the guest account and going onto facebook to find me logged in. I don't want to divide the hard drive in half

Yeah for a separate user windows does that cookies etc. Go through the stuff in the C:\Users\Current user folder & see what all it has you will have all that for the new account as well.

Usually programs are shared, but user data is separate per user. There's probably some way to make it so that only one user can use particular programs, but I'm not sure why you would.

Yes, that's totally separate.

Not necessary. Windows is designed to work with multiple users.
