    Default Enemy princesses problem.

Long story short, i invaded Hungry with two generals (a father and son team from a loyal family) and i quickly wiped them out. The Dad died in battle but his older son achieved final victory over the hungarians at Zagreb. As i was preparing to gather my strengh to invade Italy, a spanish princess came and bribed him him to defect. He was my leading general, save from my emperor (playing the ERE) and know because i dont tolearate treason, im at war with spain. Problem was, that although she only had 4 hearts, he was my most loyal. Stoic to the max, and his loyalty was full. I cant tell ya how much that pissed me off. So my question is that when i invade italy, i dont want to lose all my generals to bloody princesses, so is there anything i can do about it without assinating them (as that affects my rep doesnt it?) Thank you, considering this didnt turn out to be a short story...

You could always use your own princesses to steal his generals back.

Also, never conquer on an empty stomach
The game development business is one of bottomless greed, pitiless cruelty, venal treachery, rampant competition, low politics and boundless personal ambition. New game series are rising, and others are starting their long slide into obscurity and defeat.

That's not because of the woman. It's because of the poster who can't control his anger. The general is to blame, not Spain. If you think the chance to succeed was too low, reload the game. Use assassins to remove everyone's princesses.

    3 words: That's gotta suck.
Cassius: "Our men at arms have secured the city. We've received representatives from all the best elements. The senate is with us, the knights are with us."
Brutus:"The pontifs, the urban cohorts, the lictors guild..."
Antony: "Oh, the lictors guild, very good. Only rally the bakers and the flute players and you can put on a festival."

@topic that rarely happened to me ever, only 2 or 3 times did a princess sucessfully strayed one of my generals

and that's why you must kill all princesses near your settlements, regardless if she is an enemy or ally... I learned that when my aragonese/genoese general deserted me... and my assassin became the guild-master of assassins because of that....

Sorry for the long delay. HAvernt been very ill and when i have been able to play the game, ive been well, it aint been good

First. Kapau. I cant use my own princesses since most have turn out to be be ugly infertile hags... lol
Second. Sir Bob. I never do. I rest for about 4 turns, then im straight off to war again.. lol
Third. Abyrvalg. Isnt it always. Dont you know that original sin was because of a woman...
Fourth. k/t. Is there any need for an insult? The question was only in good fun and i never reload.
Fifth. Jamesphillip. Yeah it did, in more ways than one. He was my best as well so it was like a double suck
Sixth. johnny_b_good. All i can say is
Seventh. Hyaweh. Thank you thats all i needed to know. The main reason why i didnt recruit masses of spys and assassins is beacuse i didnt want my rep affected and for my leader to get bad traits considering its John Komnenos and his trait are pretty maxed out (all good chivalrous ones too)

There was no insult. I just responded to what you said. I didn't invent or fabricate anything.

Once a French princess stole my Governor of Nicaea, Kosmas Vryennios. The funny thing is that France got destroyed the next turn while Kosmas was still in France.
