One of the choose I higly appreciated with 1.4 was the removing of spearwall with the better ability (at least for halberdiers) of shieldwall..why did you put it back?

Well, you don't need to restart your campign, but your units will still have spearwall. You have to start a new one to play with the changes you made to your EDU.
