Vanilla patch failure, cant install Kingdoms.
Hey there.
I did a format of my harddrive, and while I was patching Vanilla to 1.3 (I think it was, the one that comes with the kingdoms cd) stupid windows shut down due to an automatic uppdate. When I try to install Kingdoms, it starts to patch the vanilla version but it then says that it cant install the patch, then it exits to windows. I tried to uninstall and then reinstall MTW2, but I get the same message.
Do I need to delete MTW2 from the registry or something, and if so, how do I do that?
Help greatly apreciated.

Yes, uninstall, delete all Sega folders, run a registry cleaner, reboot, diable all autoupdates Windows and security software, and then try installing.
Good luck.

Registry cleaner did not work. Any further advice, or do I have to format my hd?
