Are his bodyguards suppose to be Reikland knights instead of being in a 10 man firemage squad?
Seems kinda weird to have a master firemage but he cant really cast any spells or such.

i agree with having the knights rather than other mages.fluff wise so much magical power in a such a small place is a bad idea. but he should be able to cast spells as if he was in a unit of mages( him only obviosly .not his knights........though fire throwing riekland knights would be kickass)
Firemages come with a general squad and 10 men mage squad in 1.4.Those knights are there so that he won't be overpowered and his bodyguards may be replenished.
It was better before IMHO

Its the same with DE Sorceresses and Assassins. One Generalunit of DE Warriors and 10 Sorceresses. So you cant replenish them if they are taking casualties. I preferred the old System of a general with 10 mages.
Kinda harsh we only get 1 firemage for the entire army and you have chaos running around with sorcerers everywhere, but loving the game so far, very funny CTD....does anyone know when chaos invasion begins? I suddenly got 4 army stacks for reikland but nothing for them to do, im at turn 60.
