    1. Buy from PC Case Gear or Umart, prices are cheaper.

    2. Get a different power supply. Generic power supplies fill me with dread.

    3. Yes, but the CPU could be better. A Sandy Bridge dual/quad core + H67 chipset mobo would be much more beneficial. The money you'll save from buying at a cheaper store should cover the increase in cost for an i3/i5 2300/2400 and an H67 mobo.

I'm probably wrong here but isnt the P67 more for the gamer since it doesnt use integrated graphics chip in the cpu, which I think the H67 does?

Well yes, but it also costs more and a discrete graphics card makes the integrated graphics irrelevant. It's more beneficial if Evile goes with a P67 chipset motherboard, but that's an extra ~$100 he might not have.

    H67 is basically a stripped down P67.

Well the CPUs aren't ready to order yet but as motherboards goes, just order something like this:

Though, fair warning, Intel LGA 1155 Sandy Bridge processors that aren't designated with a "k" on the end have locked multipliers, meaning that your chances of overclocking outside of Turbo Core are pretty minimal. Not like it matters though... stock performance is more than adequate.

Should've asked this before but can you also point me towards a proper power supply as well? Thanks.

The XFX PSU's I'm told are good and they are also quite cheap http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=15773 it's not modular so you'll have all those wires to hide away, there is a modular version though, which I think isn't much more expensive.

Lol, if you're not in a rush and can wait something like a month for one, I wouldn't be opposed to selling you mine.

    $70 inc. shipping.

Yeah man I'll have a think about it, but don't be surprised if it doesn't happen lol. Might just ask one more thing, Came across this system on ebay a coule of minutes ago, I know its a bit out dated but would this do mediumish settings on the games I mentioned above?

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Intel-Q8200-G...item4155c1c63d

If i do get it, I would be upgrading whenever I have the money so the gfx card etc are only temporary.

    "Posts to:Local pick-up only"

    ?

Anyway, I'd say, yes with a graphics card update it would work mediumish settings but it severely limits you for the future. No USB3, no SATA3, limited options for Crossfire/SLI, bad power consumption for performance ratio, no warranty options. If you can get it at $300, it's a pretty damn good deal, but if it passes $450-$500, I wouldn't go for it.

You see that's why i don't like prebuilt trash it has a 8600GT and comes with a 850W PSU now why in the world will someone put it that G.card doesn't even needs dedicated power.

Anyways with 8600GT you can't play GTA4 without sluggishness not to mention NTW, S2TW are heavy games as well, trust me i have tried that card not worth it. MW-II etc will run fine on medium but not GTA4 Niko won't like that.

    What about this one?

From what I've seen on youtube the graphics card isn't that bad but the cpu could do with an upgrade. I'm thinking upgrade motherboard and cpu, then upgrade the gfx card sometime in the near future.

And also looking at this. - Intel i7 930, Gigabyte x58A-UD3r, 6gb Kingston DDR3 Ram. $500 for the combo. Considering that and then getting a gfx card, case etc.

Brand new or second hand? Either way, it's a good deal but it probably could be found cheaper.

    http://www.overclock.net/main-compon...x58a-ud3r.html

As the title states, both items for $355.. I don't overclock so it's at stock speeds.. If you want, I can throw in 6gb of corsair dominator ram w/ a true venomous heatsink for a grand total of $460!
Pity it's a US only sale.
