    Great tankx for your positive comment. I thougt to did something wrong, cause its very quiet here. But maybe the most are more interest in roman campaign-dont know. Its also cool for myself, to see how much could be done only by free tools, web sources and the basicly great work of veteran modders. I know my work on the textures is much of what i like, not so historical. Also some anc. like IO, Pegasus-but i like to mix stuff for fun, but myth and heros were also a basic part of ancient society, so i think it is ok to reflect these influences in different ways. Poor enlish as always. Sorry.

    Nice looking stuff.

    Just one question though....what is the origin of your textures and models (and for that matter the traits)?

    The rules of the twcenter are that we can't allow you to post a mod that has used any stuff from other mods or modders without their permission.

    Hello tone. Its breakin my heart, but after just a short time active here, i slowly begin to feel like i m a defendant.
    At first i started to reskin some models, just for myself last year. Untill now, i never offer some stuff-modified or not-from other modders for download. NEVER! After playing a while AEE and testing to add modified EB traits, i just waiting for an more complete mod base, like i found in RS-2 , to add things i like. So i just started this january to mod this mod. A part of my reskinned models came from AQds mod(i think he stoped with his mod and gave his models for public), one model came from Cassus Belli-there i have to found someone to ask for-and i will do. I used the public relaesed models from myth, models from RTR-still need perm. And for sure, i workin with superb models-skins from RSII--maybe the right time to please permission from you???
    The basic idea for the new buildings, pic. came from EB. All new ancill. selfmade. The traits mainly influence from EB, but other mods too. For example, i had taken the basic olympic stuff from EB-than modified-devel.-reworked. So it is an main inflluence-but not a simple copy. But if is the LAW, i had to thankx-what i always will do-ask for perm. too.
    The portraits i maded came from movie sources, ancient bust, coins etc. Hopefully it isnt forbidden too??
    Let me say again-i never published anything from other modders yet. Any screenshot is just from my test
    campain and still there is work to do-cause it always could be just a little bit better-alright?!

    So i hope i could clear something-thankx again for this beautiful mod.

    I, being a member of the Myth team, wasn't aware anything from our mod was released to the public (I could be wrong, though, I'll have to check with one of my TLs). Our unit packs were made available for personal use, but you may still have to get permission to use them in a released mod if you haven't already.

    Wow the first `feedback` is an friendly warning. Sorry if i done something wrong. I just use the beautiful textures from these greek myth models. Here is the original text from Quetzalcoatl:

    here's the greek unit pack from myth_tw ~ as requested by a friend of the team [though anyone can use them].

    hopefully a small clipping problem with some of the models will soon be resolved, then i will post an update. but dont worry they work fine anyways.



    note; use the DMB provided so you know which model goes with which skin!

    Credit to solo1906 for the models some of the artwork for these and all myth packs.

    But again sorry, if i misunderstood something wrong. But great work also.

    No problem, just wanted to make sure as we've had one or two people starting to set up submods and using things from other mods without permission....didn't want you to get too carried away before you realised that the twcenter doesn't allow that, but it sounds like you're getting it all covered.

    Thankx for your trusting. So let me ask again, is it ok to involve some reworked RSII units-use textures??

    And another question, to ask for Cassus Belli stuff, i m not sure-but wasnt David.cool a modeller??

    Finally 12 new traits are added-38 levels. The basics i have taken from EB-cause of their exellent historic research and humor as well. I learned and cried a lot by changing them, for my own need. The basic-like in EB are the spec.ethnics. Your family could come from an eastern prov.-or from athen and so...this will result in different traits. Also trait triggers are buildings as the medical acad. or the Mausoleum or the royal tombs. Same traits also relevant to battle actions, enemy lands-aging too. Even now i fight in iberia, to help my carthage allies and to test these triggers to workin well-hope so. Some more pic now.

    No plans-but i already made them. Just look on my screens. But like the basilikoi peltastei, they got some later helmet type, just the RTR model i used, got this classic look. New screens will follow soon.
    Right now i m playing my hopefully finally test campaign-permissions done. But you are waiting more for the hegemonia mod, i guess??

    Yeah, when will that mod come out?
    I am starting to think it's just some sort of prank, they where 90% done and Will be done SOON, for about a year now.

    Hey Leoni, I need some help here, I just made some changes with RS2 with some units I used from other mods but those new units I am using are holding there spears upside down, how do I fix that so it looks like there holding there spears right side up?
    Here's what I did, I got the units from the Units_file not sure exactly what's the name of the file, and can't look it up cz I am at work now and put them in the RS2 units file and edited the descr_model_battle.txt, and that's all I did.
    it did the job changed some units on the battlefield, but the way they're holding there spears is funny cz there spear heads are down towards the ground

    I guess its the skeleton, which has to be changed. I got the same problem some times, but mostly i could fix it. Which skeleton is used for your model-the fs_1_hoplite--is it correct? Or you got to try the fs_o_spearman. Good luck-let me know.

    Hey Leoni, thanks for the reply man, na did'nt work, I tried I looked up the skeleton discription in the original mod I got it from and copied and paste it into RS2 model battle txt, same thing nothing happend, don't stress it out man I know you're busy, will try to figure it out, I wish there is a video tutorial out there that shows how to mod, I love doing something like that, I think I am very artistic, my knowledge in computer though is 3/10 very basic knoledge

    Hello Leoni, I got another question for you, you know in RS2 each unit has an officer or 3 officers, how can I change the hall unit to look like these comanding officers, where is there unit pack located and witch text do I have to edit???
    And another question I've done some changes for some units already throught units folder and the descr_model_battle txt, but I read somewhere that I also have to do some changes in the UI folder wich I am not sure what changes needs to be made there, could you ched some light on what needs to be done in that folder?

    If you want to make-for example--an spartan hoplite--soldier look like one of these officers--maybe the
    spartan mystic officer--because of his nice helmet you could just change in the export-unit-descr the unit type of your spartan hoplite, with the spartan-officer-mystic.
    Sorry there are much better tutorials out there.
    But these officers, mostly use just one weapon--like the spartan mystic--just use a spear. The in the export-unit-descr you have to delete the sec.weapon--sec.attribute--just look out to other units.
    Also the hoplite must defined to fight as spearman--not as sword or so. All models are in the models unit folder, sorted for each faction. The spartan mystic officers, are all in the spartan folder. Officers entry in the desc-model-battle are just on the beginning, where all generals-officers are listed.
    For this example, you dont need to change anything in the UI folder. This also couldt effect any ctd-just a vanilla UI card-if some is not present for any changed-new unit. Hope i could help a little bit. But look out to the Rome workshop-there are some tutorials, for sure. Good Luck---Sparta!!!

    Hello again-the struggle for the final is near to end-for me. Last week i thought to start my final test, but was unhappy by myself, so i reworked nearly the half of my work. Now there is an military and a civil career tree, also many traits which are related to your generals rank within there.
    I saw dvk workin on something similar for the next patch-i liked to hear.
    Well the military part always well see your general in real combats, before you could get any honourable position. You will start as an syntagmatarch----taxiarch----Chiliarch Argyraspides----Archihyspastes---Hipparches---Elephantarchos---and finally as royal bodyguard--closest royal friend.


    In civil matters, you start as sitonai, above 5 other offices until you will be promoted as dioiketes.


    Also there semi---military ranks in relation to the generals civil rank---such as epistrategos---NomeStrategos---epistates---Strategos Autokrator.


    Also i reworked my ancill.---which now are related to the personal traits-father traits. Some new also included. As you can see the interfaces also polished.

    So until now i started several campaigns--my longest end in 643---without any bugs. Now i started my hopefully final test campaign---595 now---only one ctd in the campaign---restart no more problems.
    But before 600 i also had min.one brake in the vanilla camp.---just restart and everything goes on. So with the gods on my side, i will release next week. The first version is just to play as ptolemai--as i do.
    After balancing--hopefully with public feedback---it have to work for all greek-hellenes. Any questions-please feel free to discuss!!
