Is there a music addon for RTR 6.0 Gold? My game is still playing vanilla. Sorry if this was already mentioned.

Go to data/music in your RTR folder and rename the files named events.idx and events.dat
i got the same problem as shadowarmy75 but what do u mean tomdidiot? rename them to anything? or rename the events.idx to events.dat? it wont let me do the second because there already is a file called events.dat

The files are located in ----> *own total war installation folder*/data/sounds.
What i did was use the music from 6.2 and followed the steps to install that, onc einstalled delete the event.dat file(i think it was that 1), load up the game and there you go. -Leon
It sounds similair to my problem, ok i installed 6.0 Gold then the music addon, but i hear no new music. Can anyone enlighten me?
Sorry if im not making sense, but its night here and im really tired.

No, that was tomdidiot. So I have to get the 6.2 music addon and then rename the files?
Just delete the events.dat file in the sounds folder, and start the game. It should work. -Leon
I renamed both of the files and it still plays the vanilla music in the menu.
Well i have never renamed them, i completely deleted them. Try that, copy and paste the files on your desktop jsu tin case you feel it might cause an error. It didnt with me though. -Leon
delete events.idx and events.dat
delete music.idx and music.dat
after that make a folder called "Music" and put all the mp3 files in the music pack in there.
alll i did was rename the events files and it works fine. i didnt cal them anything special either i just pused my hand on the keyboard and it came up with some random word. thats all u got to do and it works fine
