Is there anyway, you can create your own faction? Or just change colours of the faction? For example The romen_julli have red cloths, sheilds etc, etc. Could you change the colours to a black or somthing? Please help - Dan

You can't make new factions.

So, like. I can change the colour of the unit? 'casue i always thought legionary cohorts, hastaii etc would look kool in a black tunic instead of a red/purple/green/blue one. If, so could you tell me how?

You need software, if you are go to do this.

you just require photshop and plugins so you can load the texture files, dds plugins then load the files and use saturation probably and then make them black or change all the red parts to Black

Photoshop 7 or above...

unfortunately, things like adding factions are hardcoded in the game. unfortunately for us modders, this is the only option- editing existing factions. unfortunately it is very illegal to mess around with the game's exe file...

bit of a bummer, but for now 21 factions is all i need lol
