Icon5 Large amount of unrest as Romans.

Hail, dear ''forumers'' Let me start this off saying that I have not progressed really far into the Campaign as the Romans yet, I've beaten Pyrrhus out of Italy, and the same with the Rebels. I have only Syracuse left to capture In the epic journey of uniting Rome Also I made this very account just to tell you about this little ''Problem'' of mine. Anyway, back to the point.

While playing as the Roman Faction, the unrest level seems really high, but that's only when theres a Governor or a local ''Leader'' or what you call those Inside a settlement. When I move my Generals/Governors/Local Leaders outside of a city, the unrest level reduces to nothing. When I order them back In, It shoots up to levels around 50% and at some even 75%!! Is this supposed to happen? Has It something to do with my King dying pretty early in the Campaign? (He died charging into the back of a ''Pyrrhic'' Militia Phalangist, Poor Fella) Or can it just be a Bug? I havn't read every thread here so I don't really know.

I'm also pretty new to this mod so If Its the twinkie about weak heirs that has made the ''Plebs'' go Nuts when somebody tries to rule over their City, then that's just simply Amazing.

It also seems only to be happening when playing the Romans, I dont really remember having any unrest problems whilst playing as any other Faction.

I can't say that Iknow why it happens, but I can tell you that the hidden unrest bonus will go away with your starting FMs, and be gone when the next generation takes up the standard. Usually however Lucius Brutus(the faction heir) who I think has been renamed has enough management to maintain the unrest, in which case I send ALL my starter FMs to Syracuse to gain the study status then I let them die on the country-side of Sicily and put my new and young FMs as governors. Also, in my case, any recruited governors at this point get the reduced unrest. I tend to wait until the fresh FMs get around before I buy some local governors.

Dont you actually have to ''own'' Syracuse to send Family Members there? Or will they be allowed in? I havn't tried that yet, didn't know It was possible.

Insane amount of unrest came from trait which design to reduced corruption only which will give law bonus at expense to unrest at the same amount, so don't panic when you see your unrest in settlement overview is skyrocket. What you need to panic is when unrest is more than law bonus given by character.

But what about the ''Syracusa Is arming for defense'' Loads of silver chevroned hoplites magicly appear :/ Does sending a spy In change that?

Exactly. I tend to make Syracuse my first goal to inbue the entire Roman family with the studied trait. Free siege command and management? Yes please!

That's even easier... Don't click on the advisor and you're set.
