Disappearing Helmets.
This picture shows the dismounted English knights with the wrong helmets and the generals bodyguard unit with the helmet they should have.
The helmets usually worn by the un-upgraded dismounted English knights has gone, utterly, they now wear the same helmets as the ones with one armor upgrade, however they still appear on both the mounted English knights and also on the generals bodyguard, can anyone explain why?

The english knights(dismounted), instead of having the helmet of one with no upgrades, now has the helmet of a unit with a +1 armor upgrade.
Perhaps it has to do with the era you're fighting in(early, high, late, or all)?

You have it backwards. English knights should always have those helmets, with or without upgrade. The only english foot unit that has the helmets you are talking about is armoured swordsmen.

No, if you left click on the unit card the discription piture comes up with them wearing the helmets the mounted guys have, it's aweful strange!Originally Posted by Lennert

Just noticed, dismounted swordsmen (the unit in the fore ground of the last pic have the unupgraded helmets even though they shouldn't...)

You wen't to battle with 3 units? And they are English too...? Don't ever do such things when you don't have Highlanders.
And I don't see any dissapearing helmets either? The helmets look odd though with those weird noses etc. but they're English so it can be explanied

Might de-installing and re-installing the game help?

There is nothing wrong with it they have varying attachment sets.

Might I impose on you to explain further? What is a varying attachment set?
Do you perhapps mean units swap helmets on a regular basis, and when the rota allows they will have the helmets back again?

Doesn´t seem to really be a problem, just a bug, at the most... and not even a very annoying one.
And honestly, I had difficulty noticing it in the first place...

I meant most of the models have 5-6 types of helmets that is uniformly distributed on the unit of 60 etc soldiers, the unit info pic is showing only one type so that doesn't means it's a fixed type for it.
