    Default Difficulty Differences

    Hey all,

Could anyone answer/direct me to the answer to my question: What is the difference in the different difficulties of this mod?

Does the AI become more anti-human?
i.e. Would the Byzantine risk losing the war with Bulgaria so he could beat the Human Sicilian player (Principality of Beneventium)?

Does the AI get a morale bonus?
i.e. His troops fight longer before running?

Does the AI get extra money/troops/etc.?

Is the AI more unwilling to sign an alliance?

Is the AI tougher against other AI/ more upholding of alliances?
i.e. Will my allies fight with me more/declare war on my enemies more?

    Thanks a bunch!!

Well, the head of this mod will answer precisly, but you should test it, you are free to change the AI files, some questions from you are according of the used AI's system.
Actually(with the Xery AI), the game is hard at large, and particulary for some factions.

"Does the AI get extra money/troops/etc.?"
the player have more malus, AI have more bonus.
A little sample of the script.

    ;-------------------Part III: Treasury Input-------------------------------------
    monitor_event FactionTurnStart Treasury < 30000
    and FactionType slave
    and not I_LocalFaction slave

    console_command add_money slave, 50000
    end_monitor

    monitor_event FactionTurnStart FactionType england
    and not I_LocalFaction england
    and Treasury < 6000
    and I_NumberOfSettlements england < 3

    console_command add_money england, 10000

"the AI more unwilling to sign an alliance?"
With the Xery's AI its some hard to be friend with every faction...

Where is this submod of Xery's? I only see one for unit numbers and one for terrain.

Anyone who can follow up on the first question would be greatly appreciated

I believe he's referring to the XAI mod.

This should be the same as vanilla. The campaign script is applied equally to all difficulty levels, so this will make all levels harder than their vanilla equivalents.

This would occur at VH campaign difficulty.

Yes, this is related to the difficulty level.

Yes, this is part of the campaign script.

This will be affected by XAI and the difficulty level you choose.

Again there are multiple factors at work here, the XAI + the difficulty level. If you want the AI to gang up on you, then play VH, if not play M or H.
