phalanx help

Howdie guys so i tried putting phalanx formation on the non phalangite hoplite units
but they come out still holding their spears overhead in phalanx
and it looks preety ridiculous when theyre spears are 2 inches above their hands not to mention
how they manage to hold such long spears from the very edge of the handle
so im wondering how do i get the old vanilla phalanx back in there

i would really appreciate the help if it isn't to difficult thanks

Because these are clasical hoplites and not meant to use spears in a phalanx

look up the same unit in another EDU. Try the roman one. ANd replace it

u mean edu from the play rome or vanilla? because iv e tried in play rome n it looks the same
