    Default historical characters

ok so i was testing out the hisotrical characetrs for hhb.
so i modded it so that milan gets francesco at turn >5
it says the conditions are-faction war declared(at war with someone)
so i just skipped 5 turns from the start since milan is at war with HRE from the beggining.
but it didnt work, he didnt appear

This sounds more like a modding question. If you are asking how or when a historical character appears then perhaps this is the correct place, however if you are seeking knowledge about how to mod, then please inquire in the mod workshop sub-forum.

EDIT: Changes to the campaign_script.txt file are not save game compatible. You must start a new campaign for any changes to take effect. Also in this case I believe the event FactionWarDeclared means that an opposing faction must declare war on the target faction, thus an existing war will not fulfill the condition. (not verified)
