Default It`s posible to have 2 RTW version installed?

Hi, i`m playing RTR right now but i want to be able to play RTW vanilla 1.5 once in a while...

So my question is if i can install the game 2 , one with patch 1.2 (for mods)and the other with patch 1.5?

    Other way to do this?

I`m using a app for changing mods, but i don`t see how this could help for different patches, since i don`t know what files 1.5 patch

    thanks

I thought you were playing SPQR?? Anyways, if you want to bounce back and forth, you need to install RTW 1.2. Take the entire folder and back a copy up somewhere (external hard-drive is great). Now install your mod over RTW.

If you want to play Vanilla again, you need to back up your entire Rome folder again into a new directory. Delete your rome folder on your C drive, then paste your previous backed up copy onto your c drive.

I don't know if that helps or if I confused you more.

    NorthHammer,
thanks for the reply, i was playing spqr but i decide to try RTR and EB, to be honest SPQR is the most beatyfull of all, but is not my type of Mod, i want a more slow pace, where big battles have more meaning, on SPQR ALL battles are huge so i lost the "enjoyment" of big battles... then small battles looks lame compare to big... Sorry hard to explain.

Anyways, i love graphically SPRQ, the skins are beatifull and even the performance is the best i have seen, better than Vanilla. But again the "mechanics" is not for me.

Now back to the topic, yeah i did try that but didn`t worked, what i did was a backup of vanilla`s Data folders, but when i tried to play that i copy over the RTR Data but i got a CTD when i tried to ran it :/

install 1.2 then make a copy then install 1.5 over one of them... now you have 1.2 and 1.5 but to start a game with each open up the folders and make the shortcuts of the icons that should work

    1.Uninstall everything (sorry).
    2.Install RTW, patch to 1.2
3.Copy that folders contents and make a new folder called RTW1.2 (for example) then paste into that folder.
4.Patch the original folder (where the game was originally installed to) upto 1.5.
5.For any new mods, make a new folder, copy the relevant version to the folder, and install the mod there....or just use the mod switcher...I prefer my way, but then lots of people only have one hard drive (it doesnt take up much room anyway).

Edit: As said above most mods have their own icons so you just create a shortcut and drag it to your desktop and see icons (as opposed to the white box that seems to occur if the same icon is used more than once).

    The safest way:
Install vanilla rtw, make a copy/past to a backup folder.
Make another backup for rtw v1.2, install the patch v1.2 manual version of the patch (You can get that one on the Eb site) on that one.
Now You have 3 folders, original and backup vannila ones, one patched to v1.2.
On the orginal install patch v1.3 and patch v1.5
And then You have a patched v1.2 version where you can add any v1.2 tc you want.
    A patched v1.5.
A backup of vannila rtw that you can use for when you got Bi or replace any of the other installs.
