    Default How can i increase range for archers???

    Hi, i went a bunch of pages back but i couldn't find a thread about increasing projectile range. Can someone tell me how can i increase range for peasant archers???

    Increase the value for the projectile that unit uses(see in EDU). After that keep increasing it by small amounts till you get a crash, then go in your log to see what's the max value for that and use that.

    Use search option instead

    Concerning the max value, you can make fire range 900 and say to your archer to fire, they will never do it, it also depend of the velocity ( and also, a little of the max/min angle of fire ) of the projectile in descr_projectile.txt

    tnkx alot u guys, for ur swift response what i tried was a bit simpler after reading ur replies & it worked so far, i copied the min/max angle & velocity values of a long range mongolian archer unit & its range value from the edu & paste them instead of those of my archer unit

    my archers have long range now
