Default Concerning "Arabia" in MA, its possible resources & which gods the inhabitants would have worshipped

I'm reading a book at the moment called "Alexander: The Ambiguity of Greatness" by Guy Maclean Rogers, (highly recommend it), in it is discussed Alexanders planned invasion of Arabia:

"The Naval preparations were to be directed against the Arabs, ostensibly because they alone of the barbarians had sent no delegation or done anything complimentary to pay honor to Alexander. But the wealth of the country was also an incentive, particularly its cassia, its frankincense and myrrh, and its cinnamon and nard. ... Finally, Alexander had heard that the Arabs worshipped only two gods, Uranus and Dionysos."

Hope this helps in any way...

Any idea of what resources will be available on the Arabian peninsula:
Cassia, frankincense, myrrh, cinnamon, nard, camels & wild animals?

And what temples will there be in the cities?
    Uranus & Dionysos?

it would be a mistake to think that the uranus and dionysos were the same as the ones greeks worshipped. the greeks had a habit of referring to local gods with names of greek gods which leads to a lot of confusion.

Arabiya lies away from Alexander's main objectives.
