No mod changes apply?
Whenever I use a mod, how do I run it afterwards. I've used the user.empire_script.txt. But when I run empire, nothing happens. Firts I created and adapted a few units (using http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=238847 ). I had some problems with the .loc file, but I managed to solved it. However after running empire nothing happens (even Scotland wasn't unlocked, wich would be a change in the basic mode I used.) Then I installed ModManager, and again nothing happened. I made some other changes, like unlocking factions and adapting units, buth I don't get a single result!
Am I doing something wrong?

Re: No mod changes apply?
When your pack´s are in the data folder as the should be you launch once with modmanager and he should then edit your empire.user_script. You should check if it works, maybe the modmanager himself doesn´t work correct.
You said you unlocked Scotland, so where is your new startpos.esf?
Did you altered the vanilla startpos in campaigns/main/ or did you made a playable new one.
( For this you will find here instructions: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=293150)
If you can give response, maybe we can figure the problem out.

Re: No mod changes apply?
all files are in the data folder, where they should be and Modmanager does his work properly. I havn't unlocked Scotland as playable faction, but the basic mod does that automatically (see http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=240051 ). However Scotland wasn't unlocked when I launched the mod, neither "Irwins Privates" was recrutuble. Then I tried to do other things, like enlarging units or unlocking other factions (all wit tutorials on this forum.) None off this worked!
Thanks for helping,
Vhakazar

Re: No mod changes apply?
The mod what you posted is outdated. it is written for 1.2
I´m really sure this will be your problem.
If you want to unlock factions you can follow the tutorial i have posted above.
When you need help with other files, you will also get help here

Re: No mod changes apply?
If you want a mod with all factions unlocked, and a smart AI and bigger unit sizes you can try out DMUC. You will find it here:

Hope this is what you are searching for
