    Default turn 130+ - family tree extinguished

    early eara, turn 130 plus i have 4 members of my family tree left, and im getting no messages for my men to be married anymore, havent got any for at least 75 turns. is this intended or have i done something wrong as my game is about over once these guys die and to be honest it was just getting interesting

    It sounds like really horrible luck. I've had horrible stretches before but the only real danger I've ever had was all the children from four lines being girls. Stars aligning, Murphy's Law, and all that.

    If you are in danger of the line completely vanishing from lack of marriage proposals, what you can do is the next time you see a rebel unit in your lands send out one unit of troops to fight him. When they engage in combat use the console command (~) and type in Auto_win Attacker, and then simulate the fight. The victory should be so crushing you will get a Man of the Hour pop and at least buy yourself a little time.

    I am wondering if something is off with 6.3 and marriages... 3 campaigns now that none of my hairs are offered marriage for decades. Of 4 sons in most recent campaign the first was offered marriage at age 54 while the rest still haven't been offered. This whole time there has been at least +5 regions over generals and by the end there were over +20 regions. No problem getting adoptions but marriage offers seem very paltry. Can use diplomat to find a princess and get a marriage that way but no other way.

    I"m finding the same thing in 6.1. In the late stages of the game I didn't have a single child nor any marriages for 30 or so turns and if there were any childs it would be women limiting the bloodlines :/

    is there a cheat code or some sort of editng i can to do delete females when they are born, from the family tree? like force them to die or whatever that way the slot is open for a new child(hopefully male) to be born?
    also what do i have to edit to increase chances of marriage proposals coding, particuarly in later turns?

    There is a way by file edits but you will have no females born at all. Set all the relevant ages to 1 in the game files so they will retire instantly
    also what do i have to edit to increase chances of marriage proposals coding, particuarly in later turns?
    Hardcoded or it would be in.

    You have to edit this file: descr_campaign_db.xml
    It is in SS6.3/data folder. Look for <family_tree> section,
    then edit this line <daughters_retirement_age uint="40"/>. Change the value to whatever you prefer, i set it to 4 myself.
    There is also backup of this file placed in: SS6.3/data/campaign/backup/data , but i keep it untouched.

    If you're editing the file while playing the game, you have to quit the game and start it again otherwise the changes won't work.

    All my hairs are single as well, did you find a solution yet?

    It is save-game compatible. Anyway, if you change the file details with the game working in the background you have to re-start the game itself. Otherwise, the changes won't work untill the game is re-started.
