Whilst playing as England, I had my princess marry to Edmund Canmre, causing our Scottish friend to join my English empire and giving him the opportunity to overlook the demise of Scotland from the other side. Now this is where it gets weird. He was an valuable commander to me, taking Dublin and Inverness and he soon became my best govornor, he gained high chivalry and income bonusses, but when I checked my family tree, I couldn't see any trace of my princess or my general.
Is this because he was a Canmore? Would it have been the same with Alexander or David Canmore, or Isaac Comnenus? And different, would I have stolen Leopold (HRE) or Michiel or Henry (both France)?
It was quite a fun game, until all of my newborns turned out to be mad, ugly or plain traitors. As I did not adopt that game, it's on hold, but still I want to know if this was a onetime bug or something more.
