How to make Sons of Mars Playable
I am currently trying to design my own maps and scenarios from relative scratch, and the whole process would be much easier during the experimental stages if I could work from the Sons of Mars tutorial. It's a short campaign with a small map and few factions, so everything would be greatly simplified. Copying the campaign and renaming it does not allow it to be playable in the provincial campaign menu. How can I create a Sons of Mars that is playable as a provincial campaign, and therefore could use as an easy template for creating a new map?
Thanks!

Let me put it this way- has anyone gotten Sons of Mars playable as a provincial campaign? If so, what did you do to make it so?

Yes.
1. remove the script line at the bottom of descr_strat.
2. make the gauls, thrace, greek cities and senate playable.
3. add in descriptions and maps for them.
4. play!
