    They were great officers, their servants(sergeants/servientes) were both professional warriors, "Village cocks", cadets from low nobility.
    The image of a whole unit of heavy warriors wearring all the healme is wrong, medieval illuminations show often both knights and sergeants fighting together.

    Same in Italia(where were made the healmes), the servientes didn't have healmes, and many knights wore also the chapel, with the hooded mail.

    No offence taken. The bailiffs are basically just a "fun" unit. Not many of them roamed around during the middle ages, but I thought they would be a good addition. They have good combat skills and are super cheap and small units. Good for little towns that need a small garrison.

    Ok, as far as a release goes, the mod is still going. I have not worked on it for months, but myself and a couple of my RL friends have been working on another huge modding project. Once we release it, I plan to get this finished. I have most stuff ready for a beta release, and have no intention of throwing all that work away. I would have had it done a while ago, but working 10 to 14 hour shifts in construction doesn't leave much time to do anything else.

    Congratulations on your submod release. I found most starting positions to be incorrect. eg: As Austria, Vienna was empty and the Austrian armies, agents etc were two provinces to the west. Victory conditions need to be looked at as well, I think a few have been set to 0 (Upper & Lower Lorraine)

    I like the new units.

    Unfortunatley that is one of the "bugs" that I have not yet fixed. The map files are a friggin mess and have taken a while to try to organize a bit. I hope to have a build out in the next week or two that will address this and a few other issues. The mountains look like crap even after I tried doing them some more yesterday. I always get them too steep or have little mounds, but the next build should have some fairly decent looking Alps. The next build is also going to have quite a few new provinces and maybe one or two new units along with more buildings.

    Here is an early changelog for the next version:

    Added

    -Some coastal cities now have a port
    -Province of Andernach for L. Lorraine
    -Castle of Leitmeritz for Bohemia
    -Province of Posen for Poland
    -Limited functionality script to help factions stay alive
    -Provinces of Salzburg, Wittelsbach, and Partenkirchen for Bavaria
    -Province of Basel for Swabia
    -Provinces of Lausanne and Besancan for Burgundy
    -Certain provinces now have mercenary recruitment

    Fixed

    -Polish regions will now spawn Polish rebels
    -Bohemian regions will now spawn Bohemian rebels
    -Rebels must hold at least 40 regions to win
    -Bavarian regions now spawn German rebels
    -UI card and info card have been added for the Keep
    -Upper Lorraine will now no longer win immediately when starting a campaign

    Changed

    -All factions must now have at least 25 regions to win
    -Some characters have been moved to their appropriate locations
    -All German factions are now neutral to one another
    -Poland, Hungary, and Bohemia are now allied
    -All starting diplomats have been removed due to constant annoying
    -All starting spies have been removed
    -Changed some mountains and rivers in various regions

    Next update probably wont have any new units, but I want to add the next castle building for my new castle system, and about 10-20 more provinces. I will also keep tweaking recruiting because I am seeing still too much heavy infantry and bailiff spam.
