Campaign via LAN?

Hi,

First of all, I'm new here, so hello everyone . Glad that I'm able to join this community.

I have a question about playing the campaign with your friends via LAN. So, I was checking this forum and I read that, when playing online, you must send the 'save file' to your friends every turn (hotseat?). I think this is kinda unpractical. So I was wondering if, when playing via LAN, switching turns can be done done automaticaly (without sending the save files to your friends every turn)?

If no, what's the alternative?
If yes, how? And what mod is used then?

As you can see, I'm not into this kind of stuff .

Not easily no, there was a member who put up an app to help you do something like that, but I've never tried it.

Passing the save is fairly easy especially if you can just turn to your friend and say 'hey it's your turn'

Just use Hamachi, in my opinion best program for LAN play.
