Other mods?

I finally started to play another M2TW mod, (TATW) a few weeks ago (thanks again, KK!). I'm stealing an idea from that forum, and asking what other mods you play alongside Stainless Steel. If you post, tell why, what you like and don't like, and include mods for other TW games.
Me: TATW, especially excited about the settlements of Middle Earth coming out soon (hopefully soon, never can tell )
RSII and EB for RTW
RSII is phenomenal on the battle map, and great on the campaign (stack spam gets annoying though) and EB is good on the battle map, and phenomenal on the campaign (but can be repetitive.)
I used to play RTR, but i found RSII and forgot about it...

Call of Warhammer and submods of SS mostly but I have played TATW and many RTW mods like RSII, EBI, RTR, etc. Don't have alot of time to play everything so there are mods I'd like to try but just don't have time for.

An awesome mod that i play alongside SS is Broken Crescent for MTW2(current version not 4 kingdoms), as it focuses on the Middle East and a bit of India and has beautifully crafted units. I always thought the vanilla ME units needed a makeover.

Ive downloaded a crapload of mods but the only ones ive played and liked are Roma Surrectum II (honestly when I saw some screenies I thought "OMFG Rome II Total War is out?!")
Europa Barbarorum, dont need to say why i like it.
TATW, very good, but since I downloaded it at the same time with RSII I havent gone moar than a dozen turns in a campaign.
FOE, the RTR team really outdid themselves, the mod is SICK!
DTW, havent played that much but i was blown away by the factions detail.
and THERA, wich was fun for a while there.

o yea, and SS. Best MIITW mod in mah opinion

It's much more fun to script than to play.
Currently I'm suffering from Total War burnout, haven't played any in a few months now, except for testing purposes.
Mostly playing other games lately, have a bunch I bought during Steam's Christmas sales that I haven't played (much) yet.

I´m waiting for a map with more regions for TATW i guess. Haven´t played other mods beside those two for a loong time.

What about Third Age, King Kong's other modlike creation? perhaps there is a holy trinity of Mods.

I think one of my first mods was an old version of SS.

Then the HRRDN mod, pretty great one, you always have the feeling of being in the middle of something. Right now I am waiting for 0.9 version.

BC, I loved it first with all the factions, the atmosphere and the beautiful units, but with the new area of recruitment in the patched up versions I lost my interests in in.

The Sicilian Vespers, still got it on my Harddrive, another great mod. Combat system similar to RC/RR, new building options and you can choose between different times, including dark age.

I played DLV a bit, but I guess I am too impatient for this mod, the waiting was killing me.

And of course TATW, first without RC/RR, but now I am waiting for Point Blanks newest update, because I don't want to play the new version without it.

The dHRR mod, focus on the "Heiliges Römische Reich Deutscher Nationen"; sorry, as a German I am used to the longer shortcut... just without the article.

Besides, downloading Bellum crucis right now, that's why I am still awake.

As Brother Joris as stated, there is only one mod, that is Stainless Steel by the Mod God King Kong. Any talk of other mods is regarded by the Khurch of Kong as blasphemous and sedition.

well i have SS, KGCM, retrofit and submods, IB 2. for rtw FOR, EC, DM.

Nothing compares to SS and I have tried them all. A lot of other mods for some reason still include the Americas and the Aztecs when other important European powers are left out which is hard to explain. Also, SS is ever growing with the largest fan base which ensures this mod will only get better. I must say I am looking forward to DOTS....if it ever gets released

I tried RSII, EB, RTR, SPQR and i found RSII really the best.
For med II i tried almost all mods out there and i use to' play bellum crucis, absolutely one of the best even if it is not in english.

Tried many, but nothing excited me more then DLV and SS. I wished they were combined one day...
