    Default Overclocking Failed?!?!

    Greetings,

I noticed that when I booted up my computer, I received a message that read overclocking failure. It was only a split second before Windows started, so I only got a quick glance at it before I went to work this morning. My CPU (i7 920 2.44 @ 3.33) is overclocked and I did it to the recommending setting, so it would need more voltage to run at stock. This is the first message that I have received like this since I overclocked the processor well over a year ago. I don't know what to do and I would like to know if I should be worried. It certainly do not want to fry anything. Do any of you know what this may be, or perhaps had it happen to you?

I am pretty sure that more details are needed, but I thought I would post this now. I would greatly appreciate any and all advice and or help in this matter.

    Thank you in advance.

Yeah i have seen this like 20 times lol & i have a i7920 d0 @3.8Ghz there is nothing to be worried about. The message basically means that the OC profile in your Bios failed to start and this generally reverts everything to default clock so change it and save settings in your bios again and restart.
