    Im having that same issue with the CTD when loading the mod. I'd like to reinstall but I dont have the sound setup, just the bundled up torrent. Downloading 900+ mbs sound files at 40 kbs isnt fun <.< is there anotehr way around this ?

    does this translation also contain the files that were causing save corruption?

    Howdy fellas, I've downloaded the mod and I have added the translator fix into the data folder replacing all files that needed replacing but the Menu screen appears blank and when I hover my cursor over the menu I get Russian writing. I've obviously done something wrong, can anyone help????

    I think there is meant to be a menu fix somewhere for non-russian versions of Medieval 2 total war.

    The menu fix should be included with the translation...did you extract the files to Medieval 2\Data or Medieval 2\Mods\Call_of_Warhammer\data?

    midterm360 - it's not text/translation related (at least it doesn't appears from that log)

    born2puke - I've downloaded the mod and the sound files from filesonic and from my game experience with it I am very pleased with it

    kauczuk - in the zip file you've several files/folders. The text folder must overwrite the existing one; you must overwrite two files: export_descr_advice.txt and export_descr_advice_enums.txt that are located in the data folder and you must overwrite descr_strat.txt that's in imperial campaign folder.

    Valiant Champion - yes, it does

    Vhaius - sorry about that

    Mateus - that's strange, try overwriting everything one more time (the same instruction as for kauczuk)

    Rawr - it's outdated (the fix had the same files (regarding menu in English and some basic translations that are here)

    holynevil - thanks for that; we will investigate the matter

    GERMANICUS - aren't you the guy responsible for the AI upgrades in TA?

    Hmm well if it overwrote the old files it sounds like you extracted them to the right place. I really don't know what the problem is...

    I'm afraid it's not nearly as simple as that. They may have made a very nice translation for us, but they will have to do a lot more for the community before they even have a shot at recieving citizenship from the CdeC.

    Something I don't understand... when I load a previous save, the city names are still in russian. if I load a new game, they're in english.

    How can I have english city names on my saves?

    PS I already deleted map.rwm = no effect.

    EDIT possible explanations:

    - no city/castle names in english in the descr_strat.txt file.
    - imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt doesn't load with the rest when loading a previous Save.
