Yeah.. if the Ottomans had a few more jannissaries in their army composition then it would definately make for an interesting campaign. I'd be tempted to play as them but again. the lack of jannissaries is what is holding me on that decision. also france should be able to recruit basic "regular" and militia troops from villages and elite troops (grenadiers Voltigures, Guards etc) from the major cities. France Litterally got stomped by Naples and Spain in my US campaign, so now i'm playing as france and i can now see why. they cant recruit basic fusiliers in the Villages, which i think they should be able to.

Btw I have a bit of a question. What's with those 50000 denar Civilians? Is it for us to use so the town doesn't rebell or is it for when a Rebellion happens that the AI has something, so the game doesn't crash?

Alright, i may use a hidden resource to allow regular units. And the 50000 denar civilians are to prevent the rebellion CTD, and do a decent job of it.

Sooo... recruiting those civilians prevents the rebellion CTD, or does the AI spawn them when said village/city rebells to prevent ctd? that's what my question is.

I'm not entirely sure, but the most accepted theory is that when a city 'rebels' there must be units there to immediately recruit, and give to the rebels, and if there are none, CTD, so pretty much just spawns them.

Ahh ok. I have yet to see a city rebell on me. I look forward to killing an army of citizen rebel scum

Since America is already in the game (although some of her units are ottoman), why not use M2TW's map with some climate/text editing?
    Please answer.

I would indeed do that had I more time on my hands, but RL really is a pain sometimes, but do not think this mod is dead though.

He died because we are working to make a single Imperial campaign.

I am available to do my small part.

I was making changes to a map.

3: clearly as you have mentioned the CTD caused by any battle involving a city.

4: i like the playability of the indipendents, but could you change the faction symbol to the black cross on white background (the trident seems out of place)

5: may i segest you remove the carrassier unit from the indepent's faction. (the french cav unit in a brestplate) it seems to ornate and imperial, i may be wrong.

I am aware of such problems, number 4 i was not aware of i'll try to fix it asap. Number 2, i know, it's not a very good map ATM. 5 I may do also, but i'll need to think of a replacement.

Not very hard to do, if RL ever let's me find the time I could script that.

I was just randomly browsing TWC, with the idea of making a campaign for N2TW, and - phew, you've already done it. Thanks, +rep.

Default Where was I until now?

Finaly a campaign for this mod. I was sure that I would never see it. Now it feels like someone you knew long ago came back. Mod really made my day. I dont understand. It took thelordz team forever with it, then the campaign died and now someone does it few months. How come? But where was I looking for 2 months so that I didnt see it until today?

The reason commonly stated is that it is not so much that they could not do it, they just did not think that the AI would be worth it. I just wanted to see what would happen, so I did.

That would be awsome to have one imperial campaign! Love the mod to, since i cant run the actual napoleon TW, this gives me a nice alternative to go to. Thank you and good luck with the campaign! Cant wait for it to come out

I am still hanging around looking for a fix for the cities, good mod otherwise, I enjoyed it.
