Multiplayer incompatibility with ALL mods

Roach and I have been trying to play a number of mods online, so far, only IB mods have worked. Rise of Persia, 77BC, ExRM, and others I cannot remember will not work. I have tried everything possible. The only potential problem is that I am using the steam version and he is not. But this SHOULDN'T be a problem because various IB mods have worked without issue.

I've found that with RTW the installs have to be exactly the same. One trick you can try is to both delete the map.rwm file or share one between you. Quite often that is one of the problems.
