In the Austerlitz battle, in the beginning the voice actor has his dates messed up. It says in the subtitles "December 2nd, 1805", when the battle really happened (even though he should say "November 20th" to keep with the date at the time). Yet Napoleon says "3rd".

    Just a small nitpick.

Yeah, but Napoleon says "3rd". And technically if Napoleon was remembering the date, he'd go by the French calender which would have made it November 20th.

I thought the French had been using the Gregorian calendar. The Orthodox nations might have still been using the Julian calendar.

In any case both dates are those of backsliding reactionary paper hyenas. Napoleon would have been using the revolutionary calender.

You're right, it was abolished in 1805. Must gone back to the Gregorian calendar, no wonder Napoleon was confused.

The Gregorian calendar was reinstated in 1806 so the actor should in fact be saying "11 Frimaire an XIV"!

    I severely doubt that.
