Full Installation Instructions - Alternative

Hello all,

For those who do not wish to use a torrent I have added filed to Mega Upload. Speeds should be pretty quick. Guaranteed virus free from me! Special thanks to Holynevil for the torrent which I used!

Create folder Call_of_Warhammer in SEGA/Medieval 2/mods
Then run the .exe file for CoW 1.4 Set up and direct it into Call_Of_Warhammer folder.
After that has finished, run the sound.exe program and direct it into any directory except Medieval (it will be created in Teutonic folder which might mess up your normal Teutonic version).
The sound files should be inside a newly made mods/Teutonic/sounds folder. IGNORE THE TEXT FILE IN THE DOWNLOAD!
Then, copy and paste everything inside the sound folder into the Sound folder in your Call_Of_Warhammer/data folder. And yes, the new files should overwrite the old ones.

I followed your steps exactly and when i try to start the mod it goes to the Medieval 2 loading screen, then i get some error messege with nothing in it that closes the game.

Can you post your log please? Also, are you running the mod through Warhammer.bat?

This issue was quite simple.. I dug around in the Tech support sub forum a bit more and realized i hadnt been naming the Call of Warhammer folder appropriately.. I left out the underscores by mistake. I changed the folder name to Call_of_Warhammer and it started up and is playing perfectly.. Thank you for your response though, RG

I have a little problem . I did all following istruction but I have a little proble. All runs, I hear music but not battle sounds . Did this happen only to me? What is the cause?

The only thing I can really asume is that you either...
1) Made a mistake when copying on the sound files.
2) Your battle sounds are disabled in options. Go to options - audio and see if all sounds are enabled.

MMM in option sounds are up.

I tried to reinstall the sound 5 times, reinstalled whole mod 3 times, downloaded all by 2 sites and reinstalled again . I tried to delete first sound folder and to use the alone downloaded one, always only music .

Well.... if you want, you can just live with it. Personally battle sounds are not so important to me personally, as to spend all this time re-installing.

mmmmmh...but are you sure that the music pack is correct?...it is for 1.01 version....
