Anyone looking forward for this mmo fps?![]()
Seems to be great, but I would like to pose Andreius question too.![]()
Really nice looking, maybe this is a signal that game companies are finally looking towards WW1.![]()
BUMP: They updated their site, now there is a very cool gameplay preview and they are choosing people who register for beta testing, it looking very cool:

There are still no news abot if it is free to play though...
PS: This is just my opinion, but the sniper gameplay looks much better than some of today's mainstream fps.

As far as i remember they once said it will be a free game.
So far doesnt look even randomly close to WW1, just people moving around CoD style and shooting eachother.
That is the flaw in your theory, gentlemen and I will not help you out of it. If you choose to deal with men by means of compulsion, do so. But you will discover that you need the voluntary co-operation of your victims, in many more ways than you can see at present. And your victims should discover that it is their own volition - which you cannot force - that makes you possible. I choose to be consistent and I will obey you in the manner you demand. Whatever you wish me to do, I will do it at the point of a gun. If you sentence me to jail, you will have to send armed men to carry me there - I will not volunteer to move. If you fine me, you will have to seize my property to collect the fine - I will not volunteer to pay it. If you believe that you have the right to force me - use your guns openly. I will not help you to disguise the nature of your action. -Hank Rearden
I think they said that the multiplayer had a gameplay mode where you actually command bots and play, and by capturing strategic points (such as trenches) you gain more reinforcements. It's all about momentum, kind of like the War mode of COD WAW, except without bots and visible action around everywhere..
Not that any of us can speak to trench warfare, but I agree that it does look quite a bit like Call of Duty's run and gun gameplay.
We had trench warfare training in the army. It consists of you (defensive) being dug in and wasting unaccountable amount of ammunition and me (offensive) running like a horse with a stick in his ass, from cover to cover, hoping that i will get close enough to throw you a bunch of grenades and make you explode.... and not from awesomeness. So it really doesnt look like that.
An authentic WWI FPS game would be...well...odd.
Mission One: Try to stay calm for 3 weeks as artillery lands around you, day and night.
Mission Two: Look out of parascope for 6 hours to watch for enemies, and try to get your gun up in time to shoot one guy but you are too slow...
Mission Three: Stand still on a patch of high ground to avoid stepping in the stagnant water; resolve a dispute on who gets the other patch of dirt above the water.
Mission Four: Weave branches together to reinforce trench wall.
Mission Five: Rejuvenate, eat, and revitalize as best you can for the week you get sent back to reserves.
Mission Six: Mock new recruits.
Mission Seven: OMG GAS ATTACK! PUT YOUR GAS MASK ON IN SIX SECONDS!
Mission Eight: Somehow get rid of bodies.
Mission Nine: FINAL ROUND! Recieve the order to go over the top, get just above the trench, and throw yourself to the ground. Congratulations, you are the only person from your company to not be a casualty! WIN!
