Medieval 2 has encountered an unspecified error

I know this has been posted and answered a lot, but none of the posts have the same problem as mine. I've installed MedII and kingdoms, and when I do MedII battles it works fine, but when I try any Kingdoms campaign and SS6.3 it never works, as a custom battle or campaign. I haven't directly installed any patches but someone said that kingdoms automatically installs patch 1.2 and 1.3, IIRC. Any help would be great

I don't have to look far. Graphics chip.
CA says 128mb dedicated graphics memory minimum, not shared. You have 32mb.

For Stainless Steel, did you install the 1.5 patch? This you have to do yourself short of Steam.

Ok thanks for the feedback. If my memory is too low then how come MedII works but Kingdoms doesn't? I've looked and both are 128MB. I'll try installing the 1.5 patch now.

Something CA won't tell you. Kingdoms actually needs about 50% more for decent play. They get lazy and don't update teir specs when they upgrade the game and we players learn the hard way.
