Yet another problem...

Hi. OK, I have been having more problems with this new computer. First, sleep mode didn't (and still doesn't) work correctly, Windows didn't come installed correctly, and now I have yet another problem. This time it has to do with .exe files.

So, as most Total War players, I enjoy mods. And, with most mods, they come in .exe files. However, my computer is being stupid and will not download .exe files properly.

Instead of the normal options of "Run", "Save", and "Cancel" I have "Find" (sometimes), "Save", and "Cancel". Sometimes it will just have "Save" and "Cancel" and it will say tha the file is an unknown file type. This renders me incapable of downloading and using these mods, which I will not accept.

Also, the other day I downloaded The Third Age Total War and just a couple of minutes ago I downloaded Broken Cresent and it worked.

EDIT: OK, so the problem just seems to be FileFront (or GameFront, I don't know what it is called) because I can download .exe's perfectly from sites like Megaupload. So maybe it is just File/GameFront. This still is weird though as I don't have this problem on my laptop.

Not sure what you mean but if i read correctly just rename the file and put .exe at the end of the filename and it should work.
