    Default Battle Crashes

    Hi newbie here.
    After a two year hiatus decided to revisit an old friend. Loaded up MTW2 and Kingdoms then some mods especially Third Age.
    My problem is it runs until a 'battle' then I get an 'unspecified error'. Sorry if there's an easy fix or something in the FAQ but I can't find it. Reasonably good PC and unzipped all the MTW data files. On Vista...

    You saying you have unpacked the game?
    If so you have to delete the 2 geography files otherwise you get a battle CTD.
