Default Changing ownership in the EDU file

I added Scotland to the St Lazarus knights recruiting pool in my EDU and now it will not work when I try to load the game, is there something else that I have to adjust in the EDU file when adding another faction to an ownership?

    here is what I did:

I added Scotland above in owneship, era 0 and era 1 as instructed in the "adding exsisting units to other factions thread". my EDU has been edited to huge battles and is made for the roz mod all towns, just can't figure out whats going on here? when I use the standard EDU that comes with ROZ mod all towns that works fine with my st lazarus knights changes, but when I use the huge battles file for Roz mod all towns with my changes it crashes. The huge battles file for Roz mod all towns that I have works fine as long as I don't add Scotland to the St. Lazarus knights and dismounted knights as above, which is the jist of my problem.

When does it crash? What actually happens when the crash happens and is there anything in the system.log.txt?

right as I run the 6.3 icon, shows the initial screen then crashes immediately. It is definetley related to this line right here, but I can't understand why?

    ownership jerusalem, scotland
    era 0 jerusalem, scotland
    era 1 jerusalem, scotland

if I remove scotland from this line for st lazarus knights, (dismonted st lazarus as well) it works fine. What would cause a conflict with just adding another faction to ownership? but then I can't use them as Scotland which is what i have been trying to do.

Yes roz, I have used that and it all works right when I use your EDU file that comes with your mod, I have a exact copy of your EDU file that has been edited for huge battles that works without any issues now in the campaign, except when I try to add scotland to ownership of St Lazarus knights I get the EDU file crash at launch.

So I can edit your EDU file adding Scotland to St Lazarus knights for battles and campaign, but when I edit the Huge battles version made for your mod it doees not work. I can't see any difference in the files except for unit size, speed, and morale.

Here is the Roz mod file all towns EDU that has been edited for huge battles that works great (tested alot) until I try to add St lazarus ngihts to scotland in owneship in EDU.

Everything works fine unil I add this: Just the 3 scotland entries

    ownership jerusalem, scotland
    era 0 jerusalem, scotland
    era 1 jerusalem, scotland

I did some more tests and this edu file will not let me add any units to other factions like above, what could casue that?

sh - soz -have no idea, unless the file you're trying to edit has got itself a read-only property?

    and you've done the battle_models.modeldb stuff with Dismounted_Knights_of_Antioch ?

you could try asking ROlling Wave - not really something I know much about.

Yeah I have done everything required in the directions just that edit in the EDU does not work for some reason. Thanks for the help you guys. No read only property just checked as well.

Could it be that i have to run 6.3 setup again to get that working or would that matter?

you'd need to start a new campaign I expect (I've had to do that with even a single EDU change)

I don't know which files the set-up changes - but i wouldn't have thought it necessary

    @stevehoos
Do you see the unit in the custom roster for Scotland probably a generic unit card? Also you didn't seem to mention anything about the EDB that is required to put the unit in grand campaign.
