I was trying to make new images for the custom battles of my mod to reflect the new rs2 environment and noticed this line on the sky where the textures merge:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    -------------------------------------------------------------v

Is this something that has been overlooked, something that is unavoidable with rtw or did I somehow missed implementing something(which I doubt)? The image btw was taken with the -movie_cam in a loaded battle if it has any importance.

EDIT - think I got it working; only problem is that the water only seems to work if i extract the file to my data folder; is there no way to make it work in a modfoldered mod?
Could you release your awesome work when itīs finished? Please!

It's a glitch that was overlooked

And that`s a problem with the textures alone? After I alt-tab`ed and got back into the game a different set of textures seemed to have kicked in and the line was still there. I see people talking about the "sky box" and naturally, rtw seems to use a box and not a dome for the sky(iirc m2 has the latter), but is that an actual model that can be edited or just some code settings?

The textures need editing...I'm considering fixing them

I presume such an edit would only involve the newly semitransparent textures and not those in the current pack too, right?

    That's a vanilla game - but what's the problem?

Hi, yes that is the vanilla game but I added the RS II environments and I seemed to miss something in the install. Nordic and Germanic forests shouldn't look like this. Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to fix this. Thanks for any help in advance.

Ahh, I see - you're looking for lots of thick coniferous trees?

Then I'm afraid I don't know - often preferring to try and take the Celts and Germanic tribes in Winter myself - as it rousts them out of their comfy furs and I can actually see the pesky buggers!

Well you're looking for the wrong thing then, and this is an area where I'm afraid that the original game makers didn't do their research. If you look at the descriptions of germanic forests by people like Pliny (Roman natural historian), you'll see that he describes them as being full of big oaks....and modern remnants of these ancient forests in Poland and parts of Germany bear witness to this. So this is what is represented by the "dense forest" climate in our mod...probably ought to be a little denser than this, but then game speed would be too slow.

Now if you're looking for some nice thick coniferous forest, try the alps or Scottish highlands.

Ah, thanks for the explanation Tone. I thought I messed up the install for the environments.
