Unspecified Error. Battle Map

Currently playing Medieval Total War 2 Kingdoms. Everything runs smooth, and I have the latest patch.
This one and only error seems to occur on the battle map. Sometimes I can start a battle and finish it with no problems, others I start on the battle map and it crashes, or it goes to the load screen and then crashes.
I apologize if this has been answered a million times, and you find this to be annoying.

Is that correct? No mods installed, no files edited. The Campaign to battle map problem is only intermittent. The consistent problem is custom battle and scenarios, there it crashes every time.

1. Did it come with Win 7 or did you install it?
2. Your biggest problem is dedicated graphics memory. It says you only have 32mb but CA specs are 128mb dedicated, not shared. It's steaing ehough for campaign but nt enough consistently for battles.

Did you also install the Win 7 motherboard chipset drivers? Your ram allocation goes nuts if not.
