Change Province's Centre of Trade
Can anybody explain to me what determine's the Centre of Trade a province trades with?
I'm relatively new to EU3 but haven't found these mechanisms explained anywhere... Many thanks!

Re: Change Province's Centre of Trade
I don't know if there is any specific rule to what provinces trade through a given CoT, but I'd wager it is simply determined by what CoT is the closest to any province in question. E.g. if you found a CoT in Eastern Prussia, you will get quite a number of provinces to trade through it from Southeastern and Eastern Europe, because there is no CoT available there for the most part. Hardly any provinces will switch CoT in all the other directions, though, because there are already other CoT's around in those directions (clockwise from Southwest to Northeast: Venice, Mecklenburg, Nowgorod).

Province and CoT religion is one of the factors for sure. I think culture may also be one, though I'm not sure about this.
