    Default Use of agents/Locations

Hi, what are ways to use your agents? Is positioning important? I frequently see the AI put their Imams near cities, does it matter if Bishops stay inside the city or surround or are just in the region?

    Thanks

Once I recruited a priest and it turned heretic exactly when I ended the turn.

That was a nice 200 florins right down the drain...

positioning is relatively important. for example, a priest/imam who has a heretic near him has the chance of being turned heretic. he can also turn heretic if you try to "attack" (forgot the correct terminology) a heretic and are unsuccessful. so unless your priest/imam has a high piety rating, you should avoid heretics or place multiple ones in the region.
to take care if a heretic easily, assassinate him.

It's better to use priests so they gain more piety faster. If you want to train assassins, kill captains, diplomats, and opposing religion's priests (not heretics).

Relations with the Pope improve if you condemn heretics
