My friends in the Curia have informed me of your recent attempts at land reform and restoring the tribunate. While you likely don't know me personally, I am sure my reputation as a populist speaks for itself. Although I am currently serving out my propraetorship in Sardinia, rest assured you have an ally now, and even more-so when I return to Rome. As it stands, you have my full support in your endeavor in weakening the patrician grip on the fertile lands of Italia, and any assistance I can offer in ensuring your proposals have the needed weight.

My spirits rise at our mutual efforts. There are few left in the Senate that realize that the people are the lifeblood of the Republic; without them their estates and "noble lineage" will mean nothing. When my term ends in 540, you can be certain we will have a meeting. Until then, I will do what I can from here to assist in your efforts, specifically the restoration of the Tribune. Keep me informed of anything you think I need to know.

Salve Gracchus, I am here to finish the investigation regarding the event in the Curia last month. I have already visited the other senators involved, except Scaurus who's Domus I have had trouble finding, which makes you the last person on the list. I must say I've found out some very interesting things as of late and some serious charges will be made against one of you. Hopefully with you this is just a formality.

I see your election has deadlocked. How is that affecting the Plebeians and how might you think you can solve it?

What I do predict is for Scaurus to delay it, I know for a fact his agents have already been to see the Tribal leaders about this election... The Plebs cannot wait any longer, far too long have they been without a Tribune."

Scaurus seems to be remaining scarce lately, that much is true. I know the plebs from my old housing area have voted in your favor, they did always enjoy a good speech.

As for my investigation I really just have one question, what do you think of senator Claudius?

I think so as well but I don't believe he is beyond reason. He has his own reasons for what he did no doubt, although he'd have a hard time finding anyone other than Naevius to agree with them.
