Patch 1.3 not installing

Well my problem is the 1.3 installer runs fine but when i start up rtw it is still version 1.00. Now i have tried installing rtw in my program files, outside my program files and with 1.2 installed first. I have had a quick google but no one else seems to have this problem. I have tried downloading 1.3 from various different sources but nothing works. My comp is windows 7 if that matters.

Logged in as Administrator?
Run as Administrator?
UAC disablrd?

I have done all those things and it still doesn't install

edit: I tried selecting repair instead of modify in the installer and now it works fine. Thanks for you help and nowRIP this thread

im having this problem too. its weird i installed the same patch last time and everything was fine. the installer i have asks me to modify-remove-repair instead of just installing the patch.
