    Greetings TGW modders!

    I acquired a copy of NTW for christmas, and so I was at last able to play the mod. I'm quite happy with the way it's going.

    I do however, as the title implies, have a small request. well, two I suppose.

    1) I'm sure this has been asked before, and possibly even fixed, and I'm fairly certain you're aware of it, but a deploy/undeploy ability for machine guns and mortars would be wonderful.

    2) the main reason for this post. As above, this idea may be thought of, and it may not be doable. I'm requesting a general infantry battalion for advanced techs. This battalion would be a combination of riflemen and sub-machine gunners. I would also suggest incorperating MGs, snipers and mortars in, but I'm fairly certain that would require a hell of a lot of work, considering their varying firing distances, and I completely understand it's likely not possible with the given game engine. However, I do feel the rifle/smg battalion would be doable, as their ranges could easily be combined without (hopefully) too much adjustment or complaint.

    The latter idea would be (if you even consider it worthwhile) something to look at down the road, once alot more of your astounding work has been released. Still, I felt it was something worth suggesting.

    for the first:I believe this was mentioned before, and this most likely won't happen. one reason is that it would probably require new animations.
    The second (and main) reason is to make MGs a defensive wepon only, not for attacking.
    for the second: not possible at all.
    Thanks for the suggestions though, glad you enjoy the mod.

    The second is impossible as Crossjon said. Each unit can only be given a single projectile to fire from its weapons, and these projectiles are what denotes firing range. Hence we can only have one type of weapon per unit. With the exception of the Officer.

    But thank you for your suggestions, the first suggestion is something we too would like to do, and are looking into it.
