That's because you're not using the actual name of the trait. How it appears in game is not how it is named in the files.
1. Open up SS6.3\data\text\export_VnVs.txt
2. Search for the name of the trait as it appears in game. The name in the curly brackets is what you want to use
Thanks, it worked for severely wounded but still doesnt works for unhealthy, and Im using the file you are saying.

{Unhealthy_desc}With limited access to resources and foodstuffs, the body will weaken over time...
{Unhealthy_effects_desc}-1 from general's hit points
{Unhealthy}Unhealthy
you can add traits to remove bad ones. for instance you can use: give trait this HaleAndHearty and it will give him a positive HP bonus and get rid of "unhealthy"
Weirdest thing in the world. When I add HaleAndHearty instead he gets Ghastly and Gaund (-3 hitpoints, -2 morale)
Your problem is you are adding levels as traits use the trait not it's level.
Open the EDCT file aka export_descr_character_traits.txt
Like for Hale and hearty:-
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
So when you enter it you get the level 1 that is DeathlyUnhealthy in vnv file {DeathlyUnhealthy}Ghastly and Gaunt.
So for hale&hearty you have to enter:-
As that's the 7th level acc to vnv file {BastionHealth}Hale and Hearty.Code:give_trait this HaleAndHearty 7![]()
